Robbing is now in game for all players! Even my rackets account (which still has rackets) can log in and start robbing. Now that I've gotten to play with it some, here is what I have noticed:

1) The amount of Mafia you can use during a robbery attempt depends on which type of property you try to rob.

For example, look at the Dockyard picture above. The "50" number next to the mafia icon shows how many mafia members I can use during my robbery. What this means is that I will only be able to use my 50 best weapons, armors, and vehicles during a robbery attempt on a Dockyard, even if I have a bigger mafia and more weapons. You will be capped at the number indicated on each robbery.

The more expensive the property, the more Mafia Members you can use. For example, you can only use 2 mafia members to rob a flophouse but you can use 50 to rob a dockyard.

2) Equipment stats and stat points are somewhat additive. This picture was taken on my energy account, which has zero extra stat points in attack, yet I still had a much higher attack score than my opponent. It seems that the total offensive score is calculated by:

(Stat points in attack + score from equipment) * a random multiplier (anywhere from 1-3 it would seem).

Sometimes, I will rob a property with an attack score of 15,000, and then rob the same property and have an attack score of 5,000. The "random" element means that anyone at any point can win a robbery (and also lose one!), no matter how much attack, defense, or equipment you have.

There are a few practical results of this:

1) If you want to rob one of the smaller properties (ones where you can only use a few mafia members to help out), such as a flophouse, the fight comes entirely down to who has the most points in attack (or defense).

2) If you rob one of the larger properties, your equipment score vastly outweighs your stat point score.

3) "Special" loot pieces, especially job mastery rewards and Bangkok faction items, now weigh heavily into robbing.

4) Having a full set of good (but not great) loot is only important in robbing larger properties.

5) Attack boosts help out significantly in small robberies and mean nothing in large robberies.

6) Due to the random multiplier, even the weakest accounts will win some robberies, and even the strongest accounts will lose some robberies. While a lot of people don't like the randomly losing, I think the randomness is a good thing as it allows everyone to progress through robbing (i.e. there won't be so much whining from bad players), and since there is no penalty for losing, it doesn't matter too much if you lose once in awhile.

Here is how this comes into play:

1) My "fighting" account will win every small robbery attempt that it makes. Since I have been slacking on finishing content with it, it loses most larger robbery attempts! Missing out on Bangkok faction pieces and job mastery rewards will significantly impair your robbing ability, even if you have 1000 or more points in attack.

2) My energy account will lose every small robbery attempt it makes, but wins most of its larger robberies (where you can use 100+ members), since I have every special item, tons of faction loot, and all the job mastery rewards.

In short, your ability to win fights does not predict your ability to win robbing events. If you want to win all your robbery attempts, you need 1) all the job mastery rewards 2) about 25 of the Yakuza Assassin Bangkok faction items 3) a lot of stat points in attack.

There are no shortcuts here and it is fairly balanced. They did a good job in my opinion in that regard. I will post again later today with more info on the rewards and other robbing information.

Robbing Collections & Other Info

Robbing is now in game for a small subset (probably about 10%) of the gaming population. Here is how it works:

When going to the robbing screen, you are presented with 6-9 possible properties to rob. Usually a few properties are listed as "easy" while a few always seem to be listed as "hard". Despite this, if you have a strong fighting account, you will almost always win your "hard" matches. If you have a really weak account, you can still lose "easy" matches. It doesn't seem to be a reliable gauge of your opponents weaknesses. If you're strong, you'll win. If you're not, you probably won't.

Also note that your board changes while you are away. As predicted, you will need a good bit of stamina to really take advantage of this new feature (200 stamina seems about right). Good thing the chop shop has a +5 stamina car, so even if you are firmly entrenched in a high level, fighting based account, you can still easily pick up tons of stamina.

If you successfully rob each property on your property "board", you will get a bonus XP reward. I've seen as high as 500 XP. This makes robbing a great way to get experience points, assuming your account is strong enough to rob other players.

Additionally, as you rob, you have a chance to get bonus loot pieces (random loot pieces, sometimes high end, just like with fighting) and also a chance to get robbing collection pieces. Here's what they do:
Tools of the Trade Collection

Pieces in set: Lock Picks, Diamond Drill, Flashlight, Walkie Talkie, Safecracker's Stethoscope, Black Ski Masks, Grappling Hooks

Reward for vaulting: +20% cash and items from robbing
Stolen Diamond Collection

Pieces in set: Hope Diamond, Koh-I-Noor Diamond, Great Star of Africa Diamond, The Orloff Diamond, The Sancy Diamond, The Idol's Eye Diamond, The Regent Diamond

Reward for vaulting: Improve odds of successfull robberies by 10%

The collections are pretty solid, especially if you rob a lot. Note that with the Stolen Diamond collection, even a weak energy account can successfully rob even the toughest opponent. Bringing back the RNG!

At any rate, it's nice to having robbing back. I'm not sure when it will be available for everyone, most of my accounts do not yet have it (even the ones with properties).

More Robbing Details and Information

So, earlier today a new post was mentioned containing more information on the upcoming re-implementation of robbing. Here is how it is going to work:

When you click on the "robbing" tab, you will be given access to a "grid" of a few properties, from which you can decide who you want to rob.

Couple of things:

1. For robbing properties, you get experience for a separate leveling bar. Level 10, the top level, earns you the title of Grand Master Thief (hopefully you can use that as your profile name) and an unknown reward item.

2. You can earn robbing collection pieces from robbing.

3. Note that the difficulty level of each property is already calculated for you. So when you decide to rob an easy target, you'll probably win 100% of the time, and if you decide to rob a "Hard" target, you'll probably lose 100% of the time. Turns out you won't need to use your brain with the new feature.

4. Also, note that the stamina cost appears to vary from property to property. In the picture above, robbing a casino appears to cost 20 stamina. This may depend on the level of the property, we will have to find out. It's a nice change either way, as spending a few hundred stamina can be a pain. Hopefully the reward for spending that extra stamina matches the cost.

5. Getting new targets appears to cost stamina (note top left of the picture). So if you can't find anyone to beat on the robbing list, it looks like you'll have to spend some stamina to get a new list.

While it's too early to make too many assumptions, I can safely assume that robbing will be stamina intensive (20 stamina for robbing the casino in the pic above, and 6 stamina just to get targets). As a result, I'd recommend stocking up on stamina over the next few days if you plan on doing a lot of robbing. TheRebel 2 chop shop car gives +5 stamina for building - considering making one of those each day until robbing comes out.

New Mystery Bag Items

The mystery bags got a makeover - same concept, just new items.

In addition to some new items, players can now get 100 Free XP from mystery bags.

Here is what I have found so far:

..and I'm sure there are a lot more items (feel free to post what you find in the comments).

The unfortunate thing that is a lot of these items are either 1) free gifts 2) easily gotten (chop shop items, boosts, etc).

There are still a few useful items (+100 XP, +5 skill points, +1 reward point), however, it seems that once again the "good" rewards are limited. Nearly everyone's first mystery bag seems to yield 100 XP, and the +skill points and +reward points are fairly rare. However, they're certainly better than nothing! The +5 skill point reward can go very far along with the extra stamina and energy each day from the chop shop!

Chop Shop - The Final Word

So, I've been messing around with the Chop Shop over the last few days, and here are the highlights:

Upgrades

The Chop Shop is upgradeable up to level 10. There are 5 items you will need for each upgrade: Shipping Containers, Cement Blocks, Power Tools, Car Lift, and Acetylene Torches. There are several ways to get these upgrade pieces:

- As free gifts. Every Mafia Wars player can send 2 types of these upgrade pieces as free gifts.

- From jobs and fighting. These upgrade pieces are a somewhat rare drop from doing jobs and fighting in any city.

- By asking for help. Every 24 hours, you can post a request for "help" collecting an item. Simply go into the Chop Shop page and click "Upgrade" and you will see an "Ask for Help" button below some of the item types. Pick the one you have the lowest one and offer up a request. Note: This 24 hour timer seems to reset if you upgrade your chop shop, so it is possible to call for help on items back to back.

- By spending godfather points. You can trade 1 godfather point for each item. It would require quite a few Godfather points to fully upgrade your chop shop, as you will a few hundred of these pieces to finish up.

The cost for upgrading = (current level + 4) car parts of each type. For example:

If you are level 5, you will need 9 (5 + 4) of each type of ingredient to upgrade your chop shop to level 6.

By upgrading your Chop Shop, your shop will produce more car parts per hour. You will also gain access to more vehicle types, which are listed in the Chop Shop Cars post.

Parts

Your chop shop will produce "Car Parts" on its own every 24 hours. This is a generic item and you will need quite a few of these items to make cars. You can also find these generic car parts as a common drop from fighting and doing jobs in any city. In addition to these items, some cars require other specialty car parts, such as Thai Car Parts, Bulletproof Glass, and Solar Panels.

Solar panels and Bulletproof Glass drop randomly from doing jobs and fighting in what seems like any city (though I found mine in New York). They have a very low drop rate, but if you play a lot, you will find a lot of these.

City Car Parts (Thai Car Parts, Cuban Car Parts, etc) drop from their prospective cities randomly while doing jobs and fighting. For example, you will only find Cuban Car Parts when fighting and doing jobs in Cuba.

Vehicles

Now, the Chop Shop no longer produces 1 vehicle randomly every 24 hours. You have to build vehicles using the car parts listed above. I listed all the vehicles in a previous post linked above that you can choose from. Unlock more vehicles by upgrading your chop shop.

Note that you can only produce 1 vehicle per 24 hours, even if you have the car parts. As a result, you want to pick the best possible cars to build.

Right now, it seems the best two cars are the Rebel 2 and the Solar Flare. The Rebel 2, with 40 attack and 45 defense, has pretty good stats and gives you +5 stamina for purchasing. That would be +5 max stamina - so you could go from 15/15 to 20/20 by purchasing this vehicle.

The Solar Flare stats aren't as high as the Rebel 2 but it gives out +5 energy for purchasing. Once again, that is max energy. Each time you buy another one of these cars you can increase your stats by +5. The only catch is that you can only do it once every 24 hours.

Since you can increase your stats through this function, you can make big improvements in your character as it is like getting an extra level up each day that you build one of these cars. By doing this for a month, you could end up with an extra max 150 stamina or energy points. This will in turn result in more jobs done and more fights participated in, which would precipitate further levels and even more stat points. This is definitely a worthwhile use of your Mafia Wars time, don't ignore it if you want to stay ahead of the curve!

Chop Shop Upgrade - Info, Cars, and Parts

The new Chop Shop is now live in game! Here's how it works.

The original 5 Chop Shop pieces can be used to upgrade your Chop Shop to different levels (power tools, cement blocks, etc).

There are 10 total levels, with each level unlocking a new car type and the ability of your Chop Shop to produce more parts.

At any rate, it starts off costing 5 of each type of car part for each level and this number increases by 1 per level (6 to get to level 3, 7 to get to level 4, etc).

There are a large variety of car types available at the Chop Shop. Here is a list:

Level 1: Random common car - 10 car parts required

Level 2: Random rare car - 25 car parts

Level 3: Tasmanian - 36 attack, 34 defense - 30 car parts

Level 4: CM Santiago R10 - 42 attack, 30 defense - 30 car parts and 2 Cuban Car Parts (guessing these drop from fights and jobs in Cuba)

Level 5: Rebel 2 - 40 attack, 45 defense, +5 stamina (not sure if you can collect +5 stamina each time you can collect a car - need confirmation) - 45 car parts and 2 bulletproof glass.

Level 6: Russian Dazatz 45 - 18 attack, 46 defense - 50 car parts and 2 Russian Car Parts

Level 7: Solar Flare - 34 attack, 34 defense, +5 energy - 65 car parts and 1 solar panel

Level 8: Thai XS Max - 45 attack, 35 defense - 75 car parts and 2x Thai Car Parts

Level 9: Trio Napoli - 47 attack, 23 defense - 95 car parts

Level 10: Red Angel - 16 attack, 49 defense - 115 car parts

Some more information:

Car parts drop randomly from all sorts of jobs and fights, as do the specialty items such as "solar panel" and "bulletproof glass". The specialty items seem to be rarer but still seem to be a random drop.

Additionally, each type of zone based cart part drops from its respective city (Cuban Car Part drops in Cuba, Thai Car Part drops in Bangkok, etc). These drop from random jobs and fights as well - you just have to be in the city.

You can also get car parts pieces simply by fighting and doing jobs. It would seem that the fastest way to upgrade your chop shop would be to repeat a low energy cost job in New York!

Chop Shop Update and Upgrade

Mafia Wars just announced an upgrade to the currently weak Chop Shopproperty. Currently, the Chop Shop produces 1 random vehicle every 24 hours, of varying quality, making it a fairly useless item. However, here are the slotted changes noted on the fan page:

We're updating our Chop Shop! Now, not only will you get car parts dropped from jobs and fighting, your Chop Shop will also produce car parts for you. Collect and turn them into hot vehicles. Also be sure to upgrade your shop to produce more car parts and unlock new rides! Updated Chop Shop coming soon!

Note that the Chop Shop is coming soon - it's not in game yet. Apparently, the chop shop will now produce car parts that can be turned into vehicles. I'm guessing players will be able to choose which vehicle they want to construct, so if a player who already has it all wants to collect 100 car parts for a top tier vehicle, he can do so, while a low-end player will be able to make some decent vehicles for a much lower cost.

Additionally, note that these car parts will drop from fighting and jobs - giving players a chance to earn extra vehicles that way.

Finally, it looks like the Chop Shop will now be upgradeable to different levels, enabling it to produce more cars or car parts. We'll have to see. Not sure when the upgrade is due in.

Note: Collection pieces from the Valentine's Day Collection event (which are no longer collectible, but still able to be vaulted) are increasing rapidly in value. I expect a similar situation (but not quite to the same degree) with the mystery bag collection if they ever discontinue the mystery bags. Perhaps stock up on a few to be safe, and if you have a Heart Tattoo left over from Valentine's Day, know that it is now quite valuable!

No, it's not a sweet glitch.. Our friend below got an ugly glitch.. He said that there is something wrong with Mafia Wars now. The system has brain damage or something because he can't do any jobs while he has 903 energy left.

This is not good! I think you should report this to Zynga forum.. Submit a ticket to them.. Tell them your issue, provide with screen-shot and also your user ID.

Some of the properties have changed names. Furthermore, some properties need to be collected as often as every 2 hours, whereas others only need to be collected once every other day. For most players (included myself), the properties with a collect time of less than 24 hours just lost a lot of value.
Here is the property list:

Louie's Deli (can not be upgraded) - needs to be collected hourly.

Flophouse - needs to be collected every 8 hours.

Pawnshop - needs to be collected every 24 hours.

Tenement - needs to be collected every 48 hours.

Warehouse - needs to be collected every 12 hours.

Restaurant - needs to be collected every 2 hours.

Dockyard - needs to be collected every 8 hours.

Office Park - needs to be collected every 12 hours.

Uptown Hotel - needs to be collected every 24 hours.

Mega Casino - needs to be collected every 48 hours.

Undeveloped lots were automatically converted into cash for mafia wars players lots are no longer purchaseable.

Players also now upgrade their buildings rather than buy new ones. If you had 300 mega casinos prior to the update, you will now have a "Level 300 Mega Casino".

Overall, this appears to be a nerf as some properties need to be collected manually every few hours, whereas before, many people did not have to collect a take at all (myself included).

The real purpose behind this change (I hope) is to allow players to rob each other's high level properties for some big money $ and also give property some unique features (hence the map that is "Coming Soon".

I'm looking forward to it, and will withhold further judgment until more information becomes available.

I also have no idea what will happen for people with rackets, and if those influence points will be refunded. Good luck!

So far we can see it just happens in New York for first tier.. I don't know if this will be continue to next tiers and other cities as well..

The jobs have to be done in order until the tier is done the first time, and after it's done you can then choose which jobs you want to do.

Also they're still giving out the old properties page, not the newest ones. Perhaps they still give us time to get our achievements about properties. They will applied to all players soon, I guess..it will happen groups per groups at one time...

Latest Mafia Wars Info!! Today some mafia group of players have issue on this game.. Looks like the user interface is faded.. We still can see the game with shadow but unable to click on any button!

I also had this on my game screen, but if I try to open another one page, it come normally. Sometimes it go back that way, I'll just to open a new window in have the normal one back.

Now I'm not sure how you're running your family, and quite frankly it's none of my business. But I like you and I vouched for you, so if you want to stick around a while longer you'll listen to what I've got to say…

You have got to get your finances in order and make sure that you are earning more than you are spending. Some items, particularly weapons and vehicles, require an hourly upkeep charge to keep them maintained. Your total upkeep cost is listed in red text on both your Inventory and Properties pages.

Purchasing and upgrading properties will generate an hourlyincome, but you have got to make sure that you own enough properties to cover all your expenses. If your income is in the negative then you are losing money every hour, and if you don't have the cash on hand then it will be taken out of your Bank.

Remember, if you're not making money, then the godfather's not making money and the godfather… well, he loves to make money. So do yourself a favor and take care of this. If you don't start pulling your weight our next walk might be down a short pier.

Unfortunately, it looks like Mafia Wars Bangkok is going to be quite extensive in the way of consumable cost. I have noticed 3 already (I think that may be all of them), but it looks like the consumable cost will be quite high.

The first consumable you run into you probably didn't even notice at first: the Satellite Phone. It drops from the "Hijack a Boat Load of Electronics" job in Episode 3, chapter 2. It drops with a high percentage rate, but that is of little consolation considering how much it appears to be used.

I just started working through Episodes 3 and 4 and already I have noted 3 jobs it is required for. I am sure there will be plenty more. The only way to get this item appears to be to do this jobs over and over again.

Consider keeping Episode 3 at level 1 or level 2 mastery; you will need to collect a lot of satellite phones and the energy cost only increases from there. It would be wise to stock up on satellite phones while the job has a low energy cost.

In addition to the Satellite Phone, two new businesses, the Drug Smuggling Ring and the Piracy Operation.

These consumables operate much like the Politico Corrupto does in Cuba. You can buy these two new businesses for $B and they will produce Drug Shipments and Pirates over time.

The Piracy Ring costs $B40,000 to take over and starts out producing 1 pirate every 3 hours, while the Drug Smuggling Ring costs $B45,000 to take over and starts out producing 1 drug shipment every 3 hours.

Unlike the Bribery Ring in Cuba, these businesses seem to be upgradeable to a very high degree. The cost to upgrade capacity and output is the same for both businesses and is as follows:

10 Capacity or 2 Output - $B7,500
15 Capacity or 3 Output - $B12,800
20 Capacity or 4 Output - $B21,700
25 Capacity or 5 Output - $B36,800
30 Capacity or 6 Output - $B62,600

Now that Facebook has expressed it’s interest in Twitter it is almost certain that Twitter will get more offers in the future – after all, Twitter is a huge hit in terms of the number of users and the online popularity it already enjoys.

Twitter was launched in mid 2006 as a social networking and micro-blogging site that allows users to post updates. A Twitter post is limited by 140 characters and can be posted through their own web form, a text message or an instant message. The company adds constantly new features to their product, such as browser plug-ins, iPod and Facebook integration and Gmail import and search. In April 2008 Twitter launched their Japanese version, which includes advertisements as well.
This is how you do re-tweet (or Facebook via) on Facebook:

When you see a friend’s posted item in your news feed that you would like to re-post click the ‘share‘ button below it. A new window opens up and and you will see a mention ‘via johnsmith (Remove)‘ below the comment box. Write your comment in the box and click the Share-button. If you don’t want to use the via-feature then click the Remove-button before you post it on your profile. Once you have shared your friend’s post it will appear on your profile with a via link that points to your friend’s profile. Your friends will also see the item in their News Feed and they can in turn do a re-post creating a viral loop of the message. Pretty cool, eh? We have more cool updates coming your way on Mafia Wars! This time we're revamping the New York properties. We'll be introducing some changes to promote the return of robbing, so read on and check out the upgrades we're planning on making...

1) We'll have properties switched to Flash mode, so make sure you have the latest version (Get Adobe).

2) We'll be getting rid of 'undeveloped space'. The costs of undeveloped space will be folded into the costs of the updated properties. If you currently have any undeveloped properties, it’ll be sold off and you'll have your money returned to you.

3) Instead of owning 30 Mega Casinos, you will have 1 Mega Casino, but it will have been upgraded 30 times.

4) You won't be able to sell properties anymore, but you can continue to upgrade them. If you still haven't earned your "Cashing Out" achievement, do it soon!

5) All properties will have the same payout over time that they currently do, but some of the rates will change. They will take between 8 hours and 2 days to fill up. For example, say you currently owned 2 mega casinos. They produce $1,800,000 every 3 hours for you to collect. In the new system, you will now own a single level 2 Mega Casino, and it will produce $28,800,000 every 48 hours for you to collect.

6) You can only collect on your property once it is done producing. There will be progress bars and countdown timers letting you know how long it will be before you can collect on each property.

7) Properties will no longer "shut down". *Note: This only affects users who have started playing in the last few months.

8) People who have Rackets will be folded into the new system as well, but that change will take place a week or two after the launch of the new properties.

An important point we want to emphasize is that you will NOT be losing any money when we change the New York properties; it will all stay within the game. These upgrades are going hand-in-hand with the robbing feature that we'll be bringing back due to popular demand.

QA About Properties VS Rackets

Q: Why are you changing the system?

A: We felt that the current system was a bit clumsy. Having to purchase an empty lot and then convert it over into the property you actually wanted added unnecessary steps that didn't add anything to the Gameplay. While the new layout is going to be a bit different, it should also look cleaner and will be easier to use. As noted in the original post, it also is a step towards the reintroduction of robbing.

Q: I don't want to have to click on a dozen different properties to collect my income.

A: We are going to include a "Collect All" button - as you can see in the screenshot posted - so a visit to the properties page doesn't need to be a clicking extravaganza (unless that's something you really enjoy).

Q: I use Rackets; what happens to the points I've put into Influence?

A: We are going to make sure that all skill points spent on Influence are refunded to players who have invested in that stat, to be reallocated as you wish.

Q: I liked my boost rackets and don't want to give them up!

A: While we understand that players with rackets have come to enjoy some of the benefits that come from that system, having two different groups of players using completely different property systems was not an ideal situation and made the reintroduction of robbing more or less impossible to accomplish.

The initial businesses in New York are going to be cash only. However, we have plans to introduce new businesses that produce other goods down the road.

Q: How is robbing going to work?

A: I can't give out all of the details on robbing just yet, as they haven't been completely worked out, but all properties we roll out initially will be robbable, with the exception of Mafia Mikes and Louie's Deli. Players will have a certain period of time after their property has finished production to return and claim the income before the property becomes vulnerable to robberies. We'll be releasing more details on robbing as we approach it's launch date.

Q: What about the businesses in the other cities?

A: We plan to roll this system out to the other cities in the near future (including the ability to rob businesses in each of the other cities).

Tips to become strong in MAFIAWARS-MYMAFIAWARZ

I have been playing Mafia Wars for quite some time and have built numerous characters so I thought I would pass along four simple things that are the basis of creating a strong character.
1) Use your Energy effectively

This is probably the most important thing in Mafia Wars.If you want to level quickly you need to make sure that you put your energy to the best use. Visit one of the bookmarklet pages and pick up a tool to help you determine how to manage your energy when completing jobs.
2) Linear Jobs

Complete jobs in a linear manner for the best results in the long run. If you are starting a new character begin with the Street Thug tier and complete all three levels of it before moving on. Resist the urge to jump around on the tiers simply because you are high enough level for them. This holds true for expansion as well. Visit them to get your business started then forget about them except for collecting your business payouts.
3) Build a Strong Mafia

Spend time visiting add me pages or add me email pages to build your Mafia. Only 500 of your mafia may participate in a fight but having a huge mafia is a boon in and of itself. Some of the advantages of having a large mafia are completing collections and re-vaulting for boosts. You will be surprised how quickly you can finish out collections and get the bonuses by simply asking for the items. Always be sure to gift in return when you can as well.
4) Equip Your Mafia

Your mafia is only as strong as the equipment that you provide them. When you enter into combat you will provide each of the 500 members of your mafia with an offensive weapon, a defensive item, and a vehicle. Having the best is a way to ensure that you are a formidable enemy for anyone who chooses to attack you.

These four tips might seem like “no-brainers” but you would be surprised at how many people do not follow these simple ideas. Many are racing to get to the highest level they can and pay little or no attention to building and equipping a strong mafia. Others have no idea how to maximize their energy or where to find a bookmarklet to help. Use these simple tips to make your Mafia Wars experience more enjoyable.

DO's and DONT's in MAFIAWARS

Here are a few things that you can 'do it and don't do it' in order to be a better social network citizen.

1.) Gifting

Gifting is wonderful and everyone should participate if they can. The annoying part comes when a player publishes every gift that they give. It is much better just to gift and skip the publishing.
2.) Lotto

We all play the lotto with most of hoping for one of the super rare items from the Daily Chance Collection. Believe me they are rare, I have almost 30 accounts and have yet to get even one piece and I play every day.

Teach your young players not to publish their lotto numbers. No one cares what their numbers were and it just clutters up everyone’s wall.
3.) Hit listing

If you have been put on the hitlist there is a reason for it, most likely because you have been a pain in the ass to someone else. Remember that the person who claimed your bounty is just a person doing a job so don’t hitlist them. If you must hitlist someone then hitlist the person who paid the bounty in the first place, they are the one that caused you to be attacked.
4.) Wishlist

There is nothing wrong with posting your wishlist to your wall however doing it 20 times per day is annoying. Also, you should try to get all the collections items before going for the big stuff.
5.) Multiple Attacks

Attacking another player is part of the game but you should not get your jollies by attacking the same player repeatedly. Yes you know you can beat them at present but would you like someone doing that to you? Show a little class by and hit them a couple of time and move on to another target.

This advice does not apply to those on the hitlist since the object is to kill the character and collect a bounty. Hit these people as hard and as fast as you can.
6.) Complaining

Say you get attacked from the fight list 10 times in a row from the same person, get used to it and don’t whine about it. Yes, the person that attacked you is doing exactly what I told you not to do, but ultimately attacks are part of the game and you have to deal with it.
7.) Job Bonuses

ALWAYS post your job bonuses to the wall so others can help you and earn some experience and some cash along the way.
8.) Achievements

Only post important achievements on your wall.

These tidbits of advice will go a very long way to ensuring that you are looked upon as a considerate and thoughtful player not only in Mafia Wars but in all of the social network games that you play not to mention the networks themselves.

How to maximize the Mafia Wars Daily Chance tickets.?

In the Mafia Wars lottery, Mafia wars players get daily chance ticket daily but can buy more for two reward points each. Tickets have two types of rewards, a ticket mastery bonus and winnings. Ticket Mastery bonuses are set and paid out based on how many tickets (up to six) that are entered. Your Ticket Mastery Bonus level indicates how many tickets played. Winnings are a random loot item for one matching number (Usually something such as an untraceable cell phone,) a free ticket for two matching numbers, a daily chance loot prize (for vaulting) for three matching balls, and godfather points for four and five matching balls. This article will focus on ticket mastery bonus rewards.

A Mafia wars ticket mastery level of one is obtained when only one lottery ticket is played. The bonus can be cashed in to gain a random loot item. Gaining the random loot item can be useful especially when you are starting out in mafia wars and are seeking items to vault to gain the skill bonuses that they offer. Random loot items can also be helpful if you seek to revault the collection for boosts.

Claiming a level two Mafia wars ticket mastery bonus (two of six) grants you another daily chance ticket. Players theoretically can win three free tickets and a random loot item every week assuming they play each day. Thus a player can potentially play ten free lottery tickets a week in Mafia wars. This is advantageous because hard to obtain items such as untraceable cell phone are won fairly frequently, as well as the occasional free lottery ticket. Claiming the level two bonus is most beneficial in cases where the player seeks to enter as many lottery tickets as possible.

Mafia wars ticket mastery bonus level three is five stamina points. I do not know whether your stamina needed to be empty or it would stack over your max similar to how an energy pack works with energy. Why a player would seek this reward is unclear; as each stamina point grants an average of only 2 experience points.

Level four Mafia wars ticket mastery bonus grants one skill point as a reward. You then can spend the skill point on attack, defense, health, energy, or stamina. In many ways, this reward is better than the next reward as skill points allow you to be a stronger character as opposed to just a higher level.

Twenty mafia wars energy points are the reward for level five Mafia wars ticket mastery. This energy amounts to roughly between 30-35 experience at best. Mafia wars powerlevelers may find this to be to their advantage but I would prefer the skill point. Less fights lost mean less a chance of being snuffed and losing six experience points. Less failed attacks amount to more experience gained from using stamina points and more repelled attacks mean a lot more free experience as the mafia wars player who successfully defends an attack gains the experience.

When the mafia wars ticket mastery is maxed out at level six, the reward is up to five godfather points. Godfather points are the rarest commodity in the game and can be used to purchase items, refills of energy or stamina, and skill points among other things. This is one of the very few ways of gaining godfather points other than taking online surveys that give your name or email out to spammers or require you to purchase a product.

So these are the rewards that come with playing the mafia wars daily chance lottery. Knowing what rewards are available to each particular scenario can help you use daily chance tickets to gain a better edge in Mafia Wars.

How to get those things?

There is a cool glitch that comes along with the special 10 man mission. If you are on the final job of a mastery and people help you, for every one who helps there is a slight chance to earn the Mastery item as reward.
So both of the the job publisher and 10 mafias who help will have that chance. All you have to do now is trying to help as many mafias as you can on their Boss Job. But again, this is only for some lucky players!

Now The GodFather has opened Bangkok!

For some groups of players, they will have more passports to share with friends.. My main account didn't have more passports because I have sent to 3 friends before.. But then I have 4 more passports instantly!

And so my other accounts who has no ability to share passports.. now able to send 2 or 3 of them.. Also we can loots the passport from doing jobs! And able to send the passport right away to our friend.

Now there are also 3 choices of getting passport to Bangkok.. I have posted about it several days before..

“Ex-Girlfriend” Worm Spreading Through Facebook

In the past hour I’ve noticed multiple users who have posted a message stating “My Ex-Girlfriend Cheated on me… Here is my revenge!” The image was not of their ex though. As a curious individual, I decided to click on the link to see if it was a virus or something else. The result was that I ended up posting the article to my profile and now it’s spreading around Facebook.

The key here is to not click the link if you see it on your friends’ profile or on your homepage. By using some creative CSS and an iFrame, this developer has triggered the “share” event every time a person clicks on the image displayed on the page. It’s a really creative trick, and one that I’m sure Facebook will block in a short amount of time but you should definitely be aware of the issue.

If you see an image like the one pictured below show up on your newsfeed or your profile: don’t click it!!

Facebook Is Not Going To Charge For Their Site

There have been numerous rumors over the past few years about Facebook charging for their site. None of them have been true so far and none of them will be true. Yes, Facebook could theoretically charge for specific features, but the $4.99 a month fee that some groups are claiming are flat out inaccurate. The largest group which grew to over 100,000 users was quickly removed by Facebook, however new versions of the group are beginning to sprout up.

Yesterday I received multiple inquiries from people, including journalists, about whether the rumors of Facebook charging a fee were true. No, the rumors are not. Did I call Facebook to find out whether or not the rumors were true? No. I just know that Facebook would be shooting themselves in the foot by charging for access. Want to keep investigating the story further? You’ll be wasting your time.

Facebook didn’t become the most popular site in the U.S. on Christmas by charging for their service, and they aren’t going to become the largest site in the world by charging for their service. Facebook will begin charging for access on the same day Google decides to charge users on a per search basis. Every year there are multiple groups claiming that Facebook will soon begin charging for their service in an attempt to get thousands if not millions of users to join quickly.

While Facebook has plenty of other monetization plans, including the rapid expansion of the Facebook Credits system, none of those plans include a fee-based access model.

Over the past 36 hours, a Facebook bug has been causing users to see an application installed on their account called “Unnamed Application” . Facebook says that the bug has been fixed, however hundreds of people are continuing to post status updates about the issue. While users are claiming that it’s spyware, it’s a bug in Facebook which should not damage your account or computer in any way.

While the number of users affected by the bug is unknown, at the peak of the issue being reported, there were hundreds of people posting status updates about the issue every second. Yesterday evening we watched Facebook search as numerous users posted status updates like:

Has your facebook been running slow lately? Check your ‘application settings’, go into ‘added to profile’. If you see one in there called”un named app” delete it… Its an internal spybot. Pass it on…………

While a much greater percentage of status updates this evening are related to the Apple iPad announcement, there are still hundreds if not thousands of users posting about the error. Facebook however is saying that the issue has since been fixed. Unfortunately Facebook is not providing any other details but based on what users have been telling us, removing the application resulted in your boxes tab being removed from Facebook.

It was most definitely a strange bug, but it isn’t something that you should be overly concerned about.

New Phishing Scam Now Spreading Via Facebook Chat. Beware!!

Hackers and spammers have been using relatively similar tactics over the past few months to compromise Facebook user accounts. The most recent scam spreading on Facebook involves the use of hijacked user accounts for sending out chat messages with links to the standard Facebook phishing page. When the user clicks the link, they are sent to a fake Facebook login page and then redirected to the actual Facebook after their email and password has been stolen.

The system then automatically logs in with the user’s account and spams all their friends via chat. This form of phishing scam utilizes automated robots to perform these tasks on a large level. Facebook is known for aggressively pursuing phishers, scammers, and hackers. However once in a while new security vulnerabilities appear on Facebook. This is the latest one of those.

My guess is that Facebook will have this new security issue resolved relatively quickly as the offending site will be blocked and Facebook will set up a filter to remove the chat message. The chat message that we received stated: “ROFL this you?! http://43.ly/4mKW”. Had I not known that this is a standard scam, I could have easily been duped.

There’s no telling how many users have had their accounts compromised in this latest attack but if you want to protect yourself, make sure not to click on any questionable links sent by your friends via chat.

We can get Bangkok collections even though we have not reach the episode yet.. I got these collections as a bonus from one job help and also can be gained by helping friend..

Those collections above are from episode 3 and episode 5.
Too bad, we cant see the items on our Bangkok collection page yet because the episodes has not been released by the game. But consider it as our saving.. hopefully we can see them when the episode has out...

We can say Bangkok is similar to Moscow in some aspects..They have both factions (or sides), hard to get money (at the beginning), has business, and soon. Also has some differences. including the fight model (soon for Bangkok), the reputation, etc..

I want to discuss about the mastery level.

Moscow has 3 mastery levels of each episodes (just like New York and Cuba), but now in Bangkok we have 4 mastery levels!

But again, there is a bug about this mastery level. One of our friends has 5 mastery levels instead of one.. Please see screenshotbelow..

Not a good one.. I hope this bug not continue to the next episodes... If the problem persist, please report this to the Support Team.. You can find the link to them on your top right corner on the game screen.

You can ask for help in each city once every 12 hours.
A maximum of 10 people can help you.
If helpers respond to a job request from Cuba, they get less money than the helpers from other cities due to their bribe discount.
In addition to money and experience, the issuer of a help request gains a certain amount of mastery percentage.
There are two achievements related to job help requests.Bangkok job help requests are basically like the requests in Moscow. You can not ask for help for all jobs like in New York and Cuba. Instead, each episode has one particular job for which you can ask for help. It is mandatory to finish that job before proceeding. You don't need to spend any energy or purchase any items before asking for help.

The very early levels are strange, but by level 14 the formula has started and every level after that plays by the same rules. Use this table to build an excel spreadsheet and you can see it for any level you want. After you make your table just copy line 3 for all the rest of the lines. Enter a starting number in cell A2 (any number bigger than 12) and the table will fill in the rest for you.
